Kita doakan keluarganya tabah menempuh hidup seterusnya.

ANTARA SEBATANG BALAK DAN PENDUDUK RUMAH PANJANG : YANG MANAKAH LEBIH BERHARGA?

4. Adakah penduduk rumah panjang menerima "pampasan" dari pengusaha balak setiap bulan?

5. Penduduk rumah panjang hanya dipedulikan selama 10 hari (bergantung kepada SPR) semasa pilihanraya. Itu pun RM20.00 seorang pengundi. Itukah nilai seorang penduduk rumah Panjang?

6. Selepas tempoh itu - Siapa peduli penduduk rumah panjang lagi?

BERUBAHLAH. MASIH ADA HARAPAN. BANGKITLAH BERSAMA PERUBAHAN.

DIVIDE AND RULE BY NAME

We may have three (3) group of Dayaks here i.e.

1. Dayak Laut (Iban)
2. Dayak Darat (Bidayuh)
3. "Dayak Ulu" ( Orang Ulu - possibility)

I really don't understand why current government make us "confuse" since the Ibans are mainly living in rural area rather than those Bidayuh.

This name (No. 1 & 2) may be twisted : Bidayuh should be rationally named as Dayak Laut (?) because they are mostly originating from sea shore compared to the Ibans who are originating mostly from mainland (Rural).

The Dayak Ulu (my own perception and proposal only)are those non-Iban or non-Bidayuh who also originating from "ulu" but from difference areas.

My GOLDEN Questions here are :
1. Are we Dayaks are going to permanently divided by the so called 3 different Dayak people as above?
2. Or may us the "strip" away this so called BN Heritage Divide and Rule Policy by using or naming us to three (3) main group of Dayak in Sarawak?

We may CHOOSE to "strip away the "Laut(Sea)", "Darat{Land)" and "Ulu(remote)" beside the term DAYAK?

If we are ready for that, we MAY CHOOSE so. Act within the possibility to UNIT us Dayak in BORNEO especially in Sarawak. Put it in State Constitution or even amend the Federal Constitution to suit our DayakBaru COMMITMENT.

Then, we in Sarawak will no more be DIVIDED AND RULED by certain "people"!

AGREE ?? Move it forward from now on!!

Little girl’s gift of life

Sunday January 18, 2009

By RASHVINJEET S.BEDI

PETALING JAYA: When she was alive, Esther Lim Joy-Ern (pic) brought joy to everyone she met. With her passing at the age of two years and nine months, she gave others a new lease on life.

The only daughter of Lim Heng Seng, 56, and Claire George, 30, (they have two sons), Esther died of brain tumour last month in Kota Kinabalu.

Her kidneys were harvested and the recipients are a 17-year-old boy in Sabah and a 12-year-old girl in Malacca.

Her passing is a painful loss to her parents but they did not have any reservations when asked if Esther’s organs could be harvested.

“There was complete peace in my heart,” said her mother.

“It felt like the right thing to do,” Lim added.

“We knew that this gift is reflective of Esther’s life. Her name means joy and grace. Our precious daughter is already in heaven.

“I can only thank God that she was in our life. With her passing, she continues to be a joy and blessing to others,” said George.

She, however, admitted that the concept of harvesting organs was new to her family and she had to convince Esther’s grandmother about its benefits.

The couple is now encouraging others to do the same. They have sons Benjamin Lim An-Yi, six, and Joshua Lim An-Yue, two.

They have also given each other permission to consent to their own organs being harvested.

“The doctors did not push us into doing this and when they handed Esther to us after the procedure, she looked angelic.

“I know the staff had gone out of their way to do their best to save our daughter’s life,” said Lim.

Dr Indra Ganesan, the Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist who was part of the team that coordinated the harvesting process, said both recipients were at the end stage of renal failure and were dialysis-dependent,

“When they received a new donated kidney that functions, they had a life-changing experience. They can now drink unlimited amount of fluids and are no longer dialysis-dependent,” she said.

ORANG ASAL...OH ORANG ASAL

Orang asal Malaysia ? Siapakah orang asal Malaysia?

Persoalannya, kenapa
